The website for Cava De Shoe serves as the starting point for all the Users who wish to do Business with us and by continuing to be on this website, you agree to respect all the processes set herein.

While this website can give you an idea of what Cava De Shoe is all about, the Users are required to create an Account that will give them the access to the Mobile App. This Account requires only the basic information necessary for the functionality of the platform. A valid Email address and Phone number is required to authenticate the User.

Mobile App

This platform requires and needs an active Account created from the website before interacting on the Mobile App. All the tasks are to be performed only on the Mobile App whilst the website can be used to either Change the Password or Delete the Account.

All the Communications to you will happen via Push Notifications, SMS or Email.

Pick up Location

All registered Users are required to study and know the Pick up points. The information for any of the Pick up point includes (P-ID, Name, Address, Time and Notes. Tap on any of the Pins for more information and you can also search a Location by its P-ID.

The active Pick up point have an Orange circle and Gray circle if we have already passed a specific Pick up point.

Categories

Cava De Shoe has 3 main Categories for all the Shoes on this platform and their respective Prices per pair of Shoes.

For Kids R20.00 per pair of Shoes for the Age group (2-13 yrs). For Youth R30.00 per pair of Shoes for the Age group (14-24 yrs). And for Adults R40.00 per pair of Shoes for the Age group (25-99 yrs).

We do NOT determine the Price per pair of Shoes on the basis of Shoe Size but the Age of the person therefore, you should properly choose the right Category for the Shoes that you request.

Collections

Collections are just logical names that group together the Shoes. You might have a Collection of Nike or Puma Shoes right, that will be what you should group them.

You need at least one Collection created before you can start to add Shoes to your Collection(s). You’re however, ONLY allowed to have 5 Collections and that they cannot be changed afterwards.

Shoes

The Shoes that you would request us to wash and clean will need to have all the accurate information before any work can be done on them.

The correct info such as the Name (can be anything), Color, Size (try to find the number either inside or underneath the Shoe or just guess the closest one) of the Shoe is very important. Choose the correct Category of the Shoe and remember the Price. Leave any Notes for the Shoes you might have such as handling etc. Add the Shoes to the correct Collection and the Image/Picture of the Shoes as pair should be taken clearly and correctly.

Please think through on the Location we will use to Pick up Shoes. Also, the Location you primarily choose for us to Drop off your Shoes. The date in which Shoes will be ready is the 3rd day after Pick up (e.g Monday is Pick up day, Process begins same day or day after and then, Collection day is Thursday at any Location you choose).

Drop off Location

All registered Users are required to study and know the Drop off points. The information for any of the Drop off point includes (D-ID, Name, Address, Time and Notes. Tap on any of the Pins for more information and you can also search a Location by its D-ID.

The active Drop off point have a Green circle and Gray circle if we have already passed a specific Drop off point.

Prices

The Prices set here are inline with the Business model and that they may change over time. Below are the Prices for 3 different groups of people and their Shoes…

Adults - R40.00 per pair of Shoes.

Youth - R30,00 per pair of Shoes.

Kids - R20,00 per pair of Shoes.

Payments

The Payments are ought to be made at the Locations, either at the Pick up when you drop off the Shoes and/or at the Drop off when we drop off your Shoes. You’re required to either pay Half (50%) or Full (100%) amount of the total amount of Shoes based on its Category.

Payments can be made either via Cash or Card. We ask that you come with the exact amount of Money as we do not carry change with us. The Receipt will be given to you as part of Proof of Payment and will need to be captured on the Mobile App as soon as the transaction is completed.

Penalties

A Penalty occurs when a Customer has missed a window of the Drop off that was scheduled prior.

A Penalty fee/amount is R1.00 per day of a missed Drop off. This amount is for the work done and completed on the Shoes and the Storage thereafter. You can settle your Penalties at the Drop off Location.

Shoes Request

This is the actual ask that we come to the Pick up Location and there we will take the Shoes, begin the process of washing and cleaning them, return them back by Dropping them off at the Location you chose or Re-routed on the day that you specified.

To submit a Shoes Request is literally easy and just under 3 minutes, all you have to do is remember both the P-ID for Pick up and D-ID for Drop off.

Re-route feature

The Re-Route feature allows you to adjust the Location and Date to Collect your Shoes. Failure to utilise this feature, will result in Penalty kicking in on that day.

Copy & Paste feature

We’ve made easier for you to quickly Request our Services that you don’t necessarily have to remember the P-Id of the Pick up point or D-Id of the Drop off point but instead, you will now see the Copy icon next to any of the P-Id and D-Id. This allows you to instantly choose the Location and therefore Paste on the Shoes Request window. This guarantees that Requesting for our Services literally takes 2 minutes to complete.

Schedule

This Schedule is meant to give you the overall picture of the entire Locations per Route while the Pick ups and Drop offs pages have the exact Locations on the Map.

Routes are Days of the week such as Monday, Tuesday etc. Locations are the Pick up and Drop off points for a Route.

You will only see the current Route for the Day and its Locations and the next Routes from Tomorrow but you won’t be able to see the Previous Routes or Days and neither will you see the next week’s Schedule until the week’s over.

Sundays we’re not working and therefore you won’t see any Locations for and on Sunday.
